The barrier cloth is fully integrated with the shield portion and is not removable. We selected materials that will allow for washing and disinfection as a complete unit. The fabric was specifically selected because:

• It is strong and won’t tear from the stitching on the shield.
• It can be washed and disinfected regularly.
• It can withstand high and low temperatures without damage.
